Random stuff
Its been awhile since Ive posted - I have to report that Jayks results came back negative, seems he just has a large lymphnode but it is working perfectly and there is nothing to worry about.
Ive been neck deep in family - Im enjoying having them here in town and we are making up for all our years apart. We went out to Karijini national park on Sunday - to Dales gorge. Just beautiful - such a rugged and totally beautiful place. Unfortunately I didnt take my camera so no photos to share, we took a gorge walk and I wasnt prepared to risk the possibility of having to swim through any water crossings - so my camera stayed safe at home.
Last week I had another photo shoot - this went really well. I had the viewing today and was happy at the families reaction (family, read - client, sister in law, mum & various kids!!). The client told me she is taking the powerpoint presentation to her mothers group tomorrow so I may get some bookings out of that. Nothing beats word of mouth! I have another booking this Saturday and then another the following Thursday - just before I head off to Perth for my dirty weekend. Marcus is away in Perth for two weeks for a course and he has the middle weekend free so he is flying me down to spend it together. A HUGE thankyou to my brother and SIL who have kindly offered to sit for my kids while we're away. Marcus and I worked out that we havent had a weekend alone since our first wedding anniversary when we stayed in Sydney and went to Luna Park! Thats a long time considering we are coming up to our 14th wedding anniversary in March next year.
Ellie turns 8 this Sunday and every morning for the past three weeks she has given me a running countdown to the day - we currently sit at four days. We have her birthday present all organised ... 'she' arrives on Friday from Adelaide ... Her name is Honey and she is a six week old Spoodle (english spaniel x toy poodle) and Elle has NO idea that this is what she is getting. She is so certain she is getting a Nintendo DS - I seriously cant wait to see her face on Friday night when Honey arrives. We've wanted to get Ellie her own puppy for some time but felt she was way too young to handle the responsibility but over the last eight months she has taken over looking after our 'big girl' Sharnie & the way she took over the care of my Brothers dogs when they stayed here made us feel that she will be capable of looking after her own pup. Marcus and I decided to name the pup as we werent sure what Ellie would have labeled the poor little thing!! Doesnt she look like a 'Honey'? More photos to follow - but I bet you'd figured that out already huh!!
Just a couple to share - not many at all really - I have a heap coming just cant share at this time.
Last weeks DT upload was a Scraplift your favourite General gallery LO. I chose a LO by the talented Blackbec007 and used it as inspiration. Lots of similarities but I feel I made it my own.
This photo was a random shot of my SIL and my nephew - I just love how this turned out. I have a shot of my Brother and my neice still sitting in my camera and Ill scrap a LO to compliment this one so they have a pair. Debz loved it and that makes me happy.
Also I got to have a little play with the new Fancy Pants Felt pack - WOW - I still cant get over just how much you get in a pack. There is plenty to keep your LO's and BTP items furry and fuzzy for quite some time. I wanted to scrap a favourite quote and with the addition of recent photos of my kids I created this cute little wall hanging for my scrap room.
well thats it - I hear my pillow calling me. More to share later. :o)

hello,
Oh Jaimie, Honey is JUST adorable!! :) I love spoodles! I had one as a kid, she lived 16yrs, she passed last year. She lived with my dad in Bris! My sister went and got another one for my dad to keep him company (perry) and just 3 months ago she got another one to keep Perry company (ollie). They are fantastic dogs! I am sure that Ellie will be beside herself! What a wonderful present :) They are the best dogs ever! Very intelligent ;)
we will catch up after u are back from Perth
have a great time
